Certified State Auditor Nikola Stefanović, State Auditor Željko Motić and Senior Advisor for Quality Control Miloš Mandušić participated in a workshop dedicated to lessons learned and further steps within the Strategy, Performance Measurement and Reporting Program of the INTOSAI Development Initiative (IDI) held from 13th to 17th June in Oslo, Norway.
Representatives of the State Audit Institution (SAI) held three presentations - "Framework for measuring the performance of Supreme Audit Institutions (SAI) and the use of results on the example of the SAI of the Republic of Serbia", "Operational planning and supervision and reporting on the example of the SAI", as well as "Achieved results , challenges and possible future solutions for SAI".
During the workshop, among other things, the SAI current situation was discussed, along with risk management and monitoring and reporting on the implementation of the strategic and operational plan of SAIs, as well as innovations in strategic planning and the framework for measuring the performance of SAIs.
The workshop was organized as an inter-regional event attended by representatives of the SAI Strategy, Performance Measurement and Reporting Program from the European Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (EUROSAI) and the African Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions for the English Speaking Area (AFROSAI-E).
The Strategy, Performance Measurement and Reporting Program of the INTOSAI Development Initiative was launched at the global level and deals with the development of institutional capacity and support to Supreme Audit Institutions in strategic management for better SAI performance. The goal of the program is to provide support to supreme audit institutions in recognizing the needs of capacity building and in planning effective strategic management.
