Ms Milica Milić, Independent Advisor in the State Audit Institution, entered an internship program in the European Court of Auditors on 1st October 2016. The young colleague will be residing in Luxembourg for the next 5 months, until 28th February 2017, together with colleagues from Supreme Audit Institutions of Turkey and Albania. During five-month programs, Ms Milica Milić, will be working in the Chamber 2 - Investments in cohesion, growth and inclusion.
European Court of Auditors has called representatives of the State Audit Institution to participate in the internship program for the eighth time, after Serbia was granted candidate status for EU membership. Internship programs have a duration of five months, and it is organized two times per year - from October to February and from March to July.
European Court of Auditors has organized internship programs for auditors from Supreme Audit Institutions from countries with EU candidate status since 1999, and is considered to be an important tool for providing insight into the audit of EU funds to auditors from SAIs of future Member States.
Internship program in the European Court of Auditors has proven to be very beneficial to both, auditors from the national SAIs of candidate counties and the European Court of Auditors.
